DESCRIPTION
COMMIT_PROBE is a Linux-based command-line tool designed for brute-forcing commit IDs to discover information about deleted or missing commits. It provides valuable insights into repositories by attempting to locate commits that may have been removed or are otherwise inaccessible. This tool is especially useful for digital forensics, security professionals who need to recover or investigate historical commit data from Git repositories.
INSTALLATION
* git clone https://github.com/0xbitx/DEDSEC_COMMIT_PROBE.git
* cd DEDSEC_COMMIT_PROBE
* chmod +x dedsec_commit_probe
* sudo ./dedsec_commit_probe
